6 + 1 Writing
I went to a workshop last night about 6 + 1 writing traits and still feel clueless. The one thing I did understand was that we need to go back to the writing process. I know I can do that! If anyone else has anything, please add to this!

So I have to admit, that every time I hear about the 6 traits and kindergarten, it makes my head hurt. I've followed the beat of my own drum when it comes to writing, and the pain quickly goes away. I know not every one is lucky to have that freedom. Is this something your school is implementing big time?

They've been pondering this. So, I went to the free workshop and feel like it would be too much! We always plan, write, conference, and revise to publish during the year. But that's usually when we come back after Christmas. This year, I am feeling agitated with all of the "It's just one more thing(s)." I hope that we'll be able to continue this way and not have writing be one more thing we add to!
